All entries must be in English and should be between 500 and 2000 words. They can have been published in magazines, newspapers, websites or personal blogs between January 1 and December 31, 2019

Note: Entries are anonymous. All by-lines and references to the writer are to be removed from the entry along with any references to the publisher, images, breakout boxes and fact boxes. Only the title and text is judged. Publication details are entered separately for verification.

An entry is a portfolio of three articles. It can be fewer than three, but will be judged against ‘full’ entries.

Entrants may make multiple entries. Entry fee is US$25 via .

Entries will be judged on flow, creativity and on the ability of the writer to engage the reader. Listicles are not suitable.

The Prize: 5 x nights at the newly refurbished Raffles Hotel in Singapore, one of the world’s most famous hotels! The prize includes dinner for two at Le Dame de Pic, lunch for two at BBR By Alain Ducasse, high tea in the Grand Lobby and dinner at Yi by Jereme Leung, also spa treatment at the new Raffles Spa and breakfasts daily. Valued at up to $15,000.
